Be a researcher,not just a teacher

Just a teacher who masters his lesson is not enough for college students.
If he wants to lead his students into the door of a field, he should make research!
In the four years college life, I have met lots of teachers, most of them left good impressions for me, but not at all. Some teachers, such as one who taught philosophy, one who taught mechanical drawing, they just knew how to read the book clearly! Nobody is willing to listen to him!
And now, after so many years of life of research, I find that if you have made research in one field more than five years, you can get some opinions of your own, and if you have studied one area for more than ten years, congradulations! you are a master now! You do not only have your own opinion, but also can do some thing great in the area!
This rule is suit not only to teacher, but also to business. If you have been a cook for more than ten years, I think you should have master the operation of one restaurant, and you must be able to be a chef, or you can open a restaurant of your own!
