The quality of chinese edition of one book depends on the ability and level of the translator.
Since there are lots of different translators, the books are of various levels.
This morning at Xinhua book store at the Bell Tower, I reviewed several books, no one is translated well, some books contain sentences which cannot be understood, some books are translated not exactly according to the original meaning.
It seems that reading original edition book is a good choice.
