Forced to stay in the stock market

From more than two years before, I have been attracted by the economy and finance deeply. One thing I can say is that, the profession I like most is finance.
I read several books of Microeconomy when I was still a college student, and I can clearly remember that the book is published by Fudan university.
When I was going to graduate from NUDT, I had time to learn knowledge of economy and finance again. I read newspapers on economy, I surfed on the internet to find news and other information. and practically, I buy monetary fun with my money, though little money has been earned.
Now I am a teacher, I have salary, so I go to the stock market. I set several different rules for me, they are so simple that no one around us believe i can earn money with these rules, but fortunately, I earned some.
But after buying and selling stocks for several times, I cannot keep the rules any more, so I was caught by the market.
May be the reason is that the stock market is crazy, maybe I should stick to my rules, I was caught.
From now on, I will stick to my rules, and buy stocks according to my rules, gain money at ease!

Each day improve a little

We are moving forward, each day we should get some improvement.
This lies in thinking, acting and thinking in a circle.
Today I give me some new rules, such as "Do not complain", just have a dream in your head, and implement it without any sound.
And at the same time, I want to introduce one film I watch this afternoon: Pursuit of Happiness, its actor is Will Smith, the American black guy.

Book: The Ape in the Corner of Office

This is a good book about the office politics of all kinds of companies as long as people work together.
It analyzes the difference and indifference between actions of Monkey and Person, such as the ability of oppose, the ability of social community, and so on.
Living in a group of people, you should be careful, otherwise, you would be "killed". But do not go mad, something you cannot avoid, even some very high position officials are beaten by other opponents, so everyone has the chance to be beaten.
But after reading so many books, about two books per week, I accidently find that they are all not useful to my profession, though they can enhance my oral and written ability, the most required ability is of profession, so in the next period, i will pay more time to reading books and papers of my profession.

I am not satisfied with some old professors

I do like people to judge the action of another one, especially who are fighting against the world!
This morning I read one paper on the relation between capital and CEOs of China, its title is "Li Yinan's are fooled by captials".
The paper said that one famous leaders of Huawei whose name is Li Yinan was fooled by those foreign capitals, the accent is so sure that one man is beated to death on the history from now on.
Who give him the right to comment on Li Yinan on such a way, as an old man, you only have the right to encourage young people to start up their own companies, you do not have the right to make such comments on young people!
In the future, capital is the sole thing that has right to control the world!

Visiting Xi'an Institute of Foreign Affairs

It is a private college, which can only enroll the third series of bachelars.
But to my great surprise, it is large and beautiful.
Using high salary, it attracts lots of excellent teachers of neighbour universities to work as a part-time teacher there, good teachers ensures the quality of students.
Perhaps in such private colleges, reform can be implemented more easily,people can live happier without any worry about the future.
If there is any chance, I want to set up a school, whether it is a middle school, a professional school, or even a college, I wish it can do something for our society.

Playing poke for almost one whole night in Xi'an

Before I decided to live in Xi'an, friends told me that living in Xi'an is very comfortable, they told me one side of the coin, they didn't tell me the other side. But I know the other side: you have less courage and dream to be diligent.
But unwillingly, I have to live in this old city, where more than 13 dynasties have set here as their capitals.
But living in a lazy city, and a lazier college, is miserable to me, I am still young, I do not want to hold such a life until death.
So i set up the plan which includes one time of playing poke each week, in the other times, I can do what I like!
From another side to see the relaxable life, you can do what you like and are willing to do, you have lots of free time, you do not have too much pressure from life!
Xi'an now is my second homeland, but not the end of my life!

China is about 20 years behind the U.S. and Russia

As the world can see , China is developing fast towards a bright future,lots of people rush to China to dig money!
But what on earth China is now? Its technology is also developing quickly?
I think this question can be answered by foreign countries, a report "China Tests Anti-Satellite Weapon, Unnerving U.S." answers this question.
The report said that China has successfully carried out one anti-satellite weapon recently, this raised the attention of the world, but China has not displayed any information publicly and privately.
From this report, what can we see?
China is enlarging its military fee? China is to be a powerful military country? I don't agree to this point, to your surprise, I look at this report from my own viewpoint.
The report said that in 1980's the U.S. has tested the anti-satellite weapon, China tested such a weapon in 2006, the time gap is more than 20 years, how miserable it is!
China's technology is lagged behing that of the U.S more than 20 years, this point cannot be ignored by anyone.
China's technology will never to threat any country, and should develop faster to keep pace of the world's step.

What do we do in the next few years?

After graduation, each one is faced with such a question. What can we do and what should we do in the future years?
We have studied for lots of years, and have cultivated some abilities of making research and implementing projects, we know our abilities, we do not want to do something meaningless.
Lao San, one of my master and Dr. classmates, went to visit my house, and discussed with me something we all face in the future.
I cannot tell him some sure about the future, but I tell him that I hope we brothers can go out to get our own projects and get rich together. We should do something together for the society.
After graduation, I think my life of pure research has been ended, I want to make some products, for our society, for certain people of our world.

Today I take part in the pre-answering meeting

After graduation, I begin to enter all kinds of matters of my lab.
One of them is the pre-answering meeting of those post-graduates.
This morning I accompanied the meeting, and find that the quality is not high, those students are not strict on writing and preparing for the meeting, even there are some people reading their papers at hand.

Maybe I am old in the age, but I am young in my heart. I love fashion very much.
If you want to content your fashionable heart, you should watch the film "The Devil wears prada", this film gives us information from two aspects.

This morning I went out to buy one, I wish the person that will receive it will like it.
I even want to buy one for myself to hung it in my room to enjoy everyday.

Two times to make the same fault:microphone and key of the car

When I was little, I have been told that do not make the same mistake for second time.
Now I am about 30, but this thing happened again.
When I tried to use my microphone to talk with my friend through skype, I found the microphone does not work, after hard thinking and trying, it still didn't work, how sorrow I am!
After one hour, when I picked the microphone without hope to make it work, I found that there is a little switch on it, and marks of "on" and "off" are listed aside, I pushed the switch from off to on, to my surprise, the microphone worked!
This made me to get the impression that people can never think completely enough! and I thought of one thing happened when I still was a master student in the Northwestern Industrial University. One day, my boss asked me to fetch a piece of file from his car and handed me the electronic key, I thought that the principle is simple and I have seen many people use such a gadget, so I said I can use it, do not worry.
But when I go downstairs, I found that I cannot make the electronic key work, so I had to open the door of the car with the iron key along with the electronic key.After going upstairs, I told my boss that the key does not work, he just gently showed me the switch on one side of the electronic key, which is marked "on" and "off", I was so ashamed.
That story happened six years ago, after so long time, the same fault is made again! It seems that we should remember more mistakes and lessons we have gotten, and be careful!

Book: Growth is more important than success

It has been a long time for me to stop reading a book until finished.
Yesterday I met with such a circumstance, the book "Growth is more important than success" by Ling Zhijun gives me such a feeling again.
This book is about how to cultivate the child, and is targeted for finding the reason guys in Microsoft are smart, what is the difference between their cultivation and other common ones.
This book also described from two sides, the Chinese methodology and the foreign one, presents a difference between them two.
This book is written mainly for parents, I think.
As parents, you should read the book, and set up yourself as a model for your children.

I want to buy a car!

So hard to be a real investor

Until today, I know how difficult it is to be a real investor.
Before, I had read lots of books on investment, especially those of Graham, whom Baffet admired very much. I learned from this book that we should be an intelligent investor, we should hold one stock at least three years after we have complete knowledge of the company.
Before I entered the stock market, I have a dream, a beautiful dream, that is, to be an intelligent investor, and I even printed one page of Graham's book to set a list of principles for investing.
But in December, when I entered the stock market, everything changed. with great interest and curiosity, I looked at those prices of stocks for one time in about 10 minutes, those investing ideas I have learned from books have been thrown behind the head.
In the future,I want to change this phenomenon, I will reduce time spent on the stock market, and give more time for reading.

Stock is similar to a game

Stock is similar to a game, many people may not agree to my viewpoint.
But this is the truth, the stock is not only a game, but also a game controlled not by you, but by your enemies.
After beginning to buy stocks a few weeks ago, I became absorbed in the game, everyday, I sit in front of the screen, looking at the curve of stock, or waiting for the message sent by the stock software, it is like a gamble, nothing lies in your hand, what you have is guess.
Of course, I look at the stock buying and selling as a game, if the price is too low, I will buy it, but if the price of one stock I hold is too low, I will hold it until its price moves onto the top, no matter it is more than one year or not.
lastly, it is valuable for one person to enjoy more things, of course, they should be in the permitting field of law.

Reading a degree of MPA or MBA is necessary

I want to open my own company in the near future.
I find my knowledge in business and management is poor, how can i improve myself?
One way, reading a MBA, just along with the social trend.
In the future, no one can be forced to join one company or the government, everything is run according to the principle of business, at that time, there will be also a sentence: Chinese business is business.
So, whether you are a government official, or an army official, or a boss of a private company, you should read and get a degree of MPA and MBA, not only the degree itself, but also the knowledge you will need in the future.

A book for innovation:The Elegant Solution

I have been troubled how to bring out a new idea, or how to write the project report for a long time, but after seeing this book, I felt relieved.
This book is written of the innovation methodology of Toyota, a well-known Japanese company.
The book gives lots of principles that we can directly compare it with our daily thinking.
There are some good notes in the book, they are "No best, only better","Imperfection drives innovation", and "pursuit of perfection".
At the same time, there are some systematical advices on innocation, they are:
1 Learning should lead;
2 Learn to see;
3 Design for today;
4 Think in pictures;
5 Capture the intangible;
6 Leverage the limits;
7 Master the tension;
8 Run the numbers;
9 Make Kaizan mandatory:create a standard, follow it and find a better way;
10 Keep it lean:make it simple;
I think this book is worth reading many times, and can be used to review your actions on innovation.

Huawei: No original invention in 18 years

Huawei is one of the largest and most famous communication corporation, it is known for its leader Ren Zhengfei, its large share in the market of communication, and its direct competition with multinational companies.
Mr. Ren has been an army officer, after changing career to local area, he set up Huawei to sell switching equipments. After years of development, his company spends more than 10m yuan on R@D, and has become one of largest companies in China.
Mr.Ren is not used to invite journalists, and Huawei do not display news and other more information. But Mr.Ren is famous for his lecture each year, as I remember, last year's topic is "Winter comes for Huawei", that lecture told us that we should never be satisfied with present things.
This year's topic is "No original invention in 18 years", I believe that in China not many companies can come out to say this sentence, they do not want to acknowledge this point, though I know that in China, no company has invested so much money as that of Huawei.
There are lots of things we should pay attention to of Huawei, and I wish Huawei can develop smoothly in the future.

The new year comes, what will i do in the new year?

Answering the question what to do next year is always a problem of burden, even people can give a perfect answer now, they may not complete those expectations in the year!
I think it is better to give a generalized plan than to give a detailed one, in 2007, I am nearly 30, lots of things need me to think over and do, so i 'd better think neatly before acting.
According to the result of 2006, in 2007, I think I should do something at below aspects:
1 Keep a good attitude: each thing in this world cannot be pursued with absolute confidence, just work your best, let the last decided by the sky;
2 Be good to others: each one is not easy to live on the earth, just think good of others, if you hate somebody, just let it just continue a short period to relieve your anger, after relieving, just think from the aspects of others;
3 Do thing for your hobby: stick to your hobby, not for money, not for displaying your ability to others, just something as your hobby!
Maybe there are still others respects I should pay attention to, but the life is improved point by point, so it is not urgent to think of them all at once.
