法国建设自己的数字图书馆: Europeana，中国应该如何做

法国国家图书馆创建了一座数字图书馆，其实或许不应该用座这个词，因为他已经与传统图书馆有着本质上的不同。他的目标是成为欧洲在美国数字化书籍、资料之外的选择。
这个称为Europeana的数字图书馆，目前向公众提供约12，000份全文本资料，预计到2010年，将可以提供600万份书籍、电影、图以及其它资料。
法国总统希拉克宣称，Europeana的创建“对于法国和欧洲来说是一个很重要的挑战，但同时也包含了欧洲传播知识、加强文化多样性、保持语言价值、传播大家共同认同的信息的雄心壮志”。
创建Europeana还有一个很重要的目的，那就是不再因面对美国的搜索引擎而无所适从。Google在2004年12月就宣布对一大批图书馆的资料实现数字化，几乎同时，美国的互联网和软件巨头Yahoo和Microsoft以及Amazon都各自宣布了自己的数字图书馆计划。
在不远的将来，欧洲将拥有两个在线图书馆，他们之间的区别是：Europeana的网页是法文的，而the European Library的网页是英文的。
中国在多年以来，一直跟在美国的屁股后面追，不知道这一次在数字图书馆这个方向中国会怎么做，但是中国肯定也要这么做，因为－数字化是这个世界的大势所趋。

美国针对中国商品加税

随着中国经济的飞速发展，很多国家和个人看在眼里，热在心里。
美国商务部周五宣布将提高对从中国进口的铜版纸征收的税额，从而改变了十几年来一直坚持的对从非市场经济国家进口的商品的补贴。
一切都是说辞。
究其原因，美国由于不允许向中国出口高科技技术，因此近年来对中国的贸易逆差是逐年增加，美国政府于是面临着越来越大的压力。美国作为世界的一号科技强国，应该考虑将一些非最尖端、非军用的技术出口到金砖四国这些劳动力成本较低的国家，从而可以减小贸易逆差。
不过，对于中国企业来说，这刚刚是一个开始，随着中国经济的发展，以后这样的事情会越来越多。出口产品到美国的中国企业，无论是生产企业还是贸易企业，都应该提前思考这个问题，积极应对这种加税的政策。

花旗银行大手笔，内地分行数量翻一倍

花旗（CITIGROUP）计划在年内增加在中国大陆的分支机构数目，并将数目翻倍，达到30个。
花旗这次动作真的很大，世界各大媒体都在醒目位置对这一消息进行了报道，字数虽然不多，但却证明了大家的关注。
自从中国逐步向外资银行开放以来，各国银行蜂拥而至，没有人愿意放弃在中国大陆－这块肥肉上狠咬一口的机会。
到现在为止，花旗在中国大陆已开设了16家分支机构，而且它也是今年3月20日首批获准进入内地的四家外资银行之一。初次分得的蛋糕已经令这些银行非常开心－获准发放接近200亿美元的住房信贷，但是他们没有满足，正在积极准备，准备展开新一轮的攻势。
当然，花旗的主席和首席执行管Charles Prince并没有得意忘形，还是以一种谨慎的态度宣布了扩张消息，并且对是否有意收购德意志银行不置可否，体现了这些外资银行的一个作风：攻势凌厉，但却又按部就班，稳抓稳打。

Teaching skills have been improved

After several weeks of teaching, my skills of teaching have been improved. And at some points, I paid some attention, such as the talking speed, the clearance of pronounciation, and notice whether the students are listening.
Being a good a teacher is a hard thing, is nearly an impossible task for a young teacher. Those students have a poor knowledge background, so I cannot teach them any formulars, the only thing I can tell them is concrete things, such as the equipment, the high-technology informations, I told them all I know, so now I had to search the world wide web to find materials to use in the classroom!
Wish I can be experienced the next time I teach the same lesson!

做一个完全独立思考的人

世上的事本就无定数，何不以不变应万变，沉着应对！
近几日，温度遽然偏高，耀眼的阳光照得人心里烦躁，就连午睡的质量也在慢慢下降。
工作的事，还是悬在空中，可望而不可立即即，间或有些消息传来，也说不清好坏，面对朋友们的关心，只有静静的、烦躁的等待。
不小啦！奔三到头，快奔四啦！可是家未成，业未立，前景也不知会如何！或许是受孔孟思想侵蚀过多的缘故，每每想起这些，我总感觉有些愧对祖宗，同时也越来越不敢奢望五十岁以前混个省部级待遇（刚刚公布的陕西省委书记就只有五十岁，并且已经在省部级的位置上带了七、八年了）。
不知道还要等到什么时候，人并没有多么漫长的生命里面充满了太多的等待和别人对自己命运的决定，对于我来说，这种等待和期盼从中考就已经开始了。
拖的时间越长，对自己、对爱自己的人来说都是一种折磨，也是一种不公。但是，我又能做些什么呢？
也许，眼下最正确的行为就是：
做好眼前的事，其余的事情由他去吧！
用佛学中的英语来解释，那就是：

Topic: How to blog?

There is a famous essay on how to blog on the internet, maybe everyone has his own trouble blogging, but most of those troubled issues have been included in the essay.
There are several points I agree to, so I write them down here:
1 Keep writing blogs as a habit, at least one piece each day;
2 Do not tell the web address of your blog site to your friends, leaders and so on, keep it secret;
3 Frequently write something of the city you are inhabiting in;
4 Do not apologize for having not written blog for many days, no one will pay attention to it!
I write down those four points, just because I have similar shortcomings.

保时捷继续增持大众股份

德国跑车生产厂商保时捷周六宣布，将继续增持大众，这一大胆的举动再次受到世人的瞩目。
保时捷计划将其所持有的大众的股份由27.3％提升到31％，德国法律对这种行动是允许的。
保时捷增持，这不是第一次，相信也不会是最后一次。自2005年以来保时捷就一直没有停下增持的步伐。
保时捷虽然销售额不足大众的十分之一，但是利润却和后者相当，是个十足的赚钱机器。二者有着深远的历史渊源，多年以来，它们一直合作生产SUV，同时保时捷的两名高管还兼任大众的董事。
保时捷的增持一来会加大对大众的控制，保证自己的零部件供应；二来，可能可以增加大众的影响力和竞争力。

科学研究发现可乐饮料又一弊端－－腐蚀牙齿

曾几何时，有关苏打饮料是否有害身体健康的议题在网上被争论的如火如荼，最终的结论大体是：即使没有害，也不会对身体有益。
现在科学家又有了新的发现，无醇啤酒是对牙齿损害最小的软饮料，而大多数流行的各种苏打饮料由于含有一定的酸性物质而腐蚀牙齿。
据研究表明，可乐对牙齿的腐蚀度是果汁的十倍，而这还仅仅是发生在喝入饮料的头三分钟内的事情。权威杂志透漏，任何一种软饮料，都由于含有柠檬酸和磷酸而对对牙齿有腐蚀作用。
当然啦，上述研究也是有局限性的，因为不会有人把可乐含在嘴里很长时间而不咽下去，所谓的腐蚀作用也只是发生在瞬时的事情。并且，口水还可以在一定程度上冲淡酸性物质，起到缓和的作用。
相比之下，最理想的选择就是：适当摄入任何一种物质。这也许应该成为我们每个人的目标。

Issue thought most is what I should do in the future

Future is not clear, not for everyone, but for at least most of the people.
I am not an exception.
Since graduation, I thought of my future for infinite times, but got no result.
But to my pleasure, I sticked to learning Java and writing all these days, I tried my best to learn more things to face accidental projects in the future. At the same time, I wrote several reports to acquire projects, all seemed to be smooth!
I want to learn software developing and DSP at the same time, as well as business.
Whether I learn, I want to learn more, not deep, just wide!

欧洲拥有最长域名网址

因特网域名的长度的极限是多少？63位。由于太长的域名会给访问的客户带来麻烦，因此，域名一般都比较短，离极限长度有很远的距离。但是，周五管理欧洲.eu域名的团体称，在过去的一年的时间里，共有6人申请了这种最长的域名。
他们为何要申请这么长的域名呢？原因也是五花八门，各种各样，有的仅仅是因为好玩，有的则是为表达对自己事业的美好祝愿，也有的是为了更充分的在域名上展示自己，譬如欧洲一个村子的域名就是：llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogochuchaf.eu。
互联网域名欧洲注册委员会周五声称，在去年4月7号放开注册以来，共有250万个.eu域名被申请，其中最受青睐的是sex.eu, hotel.eu, travel.eu以及jobs.eu等。
到现在为止，.eu域名的受欢迎程度已经跃居欧洲第三，仅次于德国的.de和英国的.uk。

Read some books again

I have a habit, reading old books, to see whether I have new attitudes towards them.
First I picked up the "Life just like a meet", after reading several chapters, I found that I couldn't endure the sweet words anymore, An Yiru's essays can give you a feeling of new, but when you read more, you would find that most of them are groaning without any ill.
Second I picked up the book "The World is Flat", I found that each time I read this book, I could not only review the old comments, but also get new ideas, this is a good book worth reading many times.
In modern society, lots of authors come onto the stage of the literature, but most of them will leave nothing in the history, such as An Yiru, Yu Dan who talks about "Lun Yu"(Comments on Speaks, by KongZi).

年报喜人 股市上飙

又到了发年报的时候啦！无论是中国大陆市场，还是欧美市场，股市都是热得一塌糊涂，什么沪指3000点见顶，那是蒙人！“嗖”的一声，就轻轻越过了3000点，就像轻盈的撑杆跳高运动员一样。于是大家又都坐不住了，每日的沪深开户数又在激增。
年报的影响不容小瞧，不过，你也确实小瞧不了，现在很少见到不盈利的公司，估计百分之八十以上的公司都在盈利。以美国市场为例，Adobe公司在February quarter净收入1.05亿美元，更不用说全年了，在过去的这个quarter里每股盈利30美分，同时大家还都非常乐观地认为下一个quarter每股盈利会达到34至36美分。
同时，国际投行Morgan Stanley在February quarter里更是取得了26.7亿美元的骄人业绩。
即使是受到暴风雪影响的联邦快递(FedEx)，下降之后的利润仍然达到了4.2亿美元。暴风雪阻碍了投递包裹的卡车，再加上美国经济的衰退，客户从隔夜送达开始转向更为便宜的服务。虽然我们还是每天看到印着FedEx醒目标志的货车在大街上穿梭，但车上的运费确实越来越低了。即便是这样，FedEx在February quarter里的盈利仍然超过1.35美元/股。
不知道这火热的股市何时是个头啊？最重要的是在大家都狂热的时刻保持一颗清醒的头脑。

Google尝试改革广告收费模式

Google最新推出了一项新的提议：如果广告商没有获得利益，则不用付费。这种利益的获得可以是用户购买了产品、订阅了新闻组、注册完成乐意接收报价等等。
这种方法具有很多的优点，其中最大的一个就是可以阻止那些靠点击次数骗钱的公司和个人。
Google的这一尝试将会在75位广告商和75位出版商身上展开，而去年夏天的这种尝试则利用了30个广告商和30个出版商。
这种广告收费的方式是一种颠覆性的创新，将会是一个趋势。

戴尔低价电脑进军中国

中国本土厂商的低价电脑卖的是如火如荼，戴尔，这个国际直销电脑巨头再也按捺不住了。
本月，戴尔公布了一款专门针对中国大陆市场的低价个人电脑，估计价格介于2400到4000元（人民币）之间。
本月早些时候，戴尔宣布过去一个季度的利润的下滑，且收入未达到华尔街预期。同时由于戴尔正在重组，因此，在未来几个季度仍然面临着来自增长和利润的压力。在过去的06年第四季度和07年1月，戴尔的部分市场份额被惠普抢走。而在中国，戴尔只能名列第三，排在联想之后。
据很多用户，尤其是工业用户反应，戴尔电脑的噪音小，性能也较稳定，如果低价电脑能够保持以前电脑的优势，应该可以在中国市场有一番作为。

中国3G拍照何时发放 全球瞩目

中国一再推迟3G拍照的发放，在日前召开的两会上，大家没有得到任何3G方面的消息。
中国推迟拍照的发放，为的是能够推行自己的TD-SCDMA标准，并确保可以在2008年夏季奥运会的时候提供3G服务。
在人民日报的网站上，信息产业部部长称，正在竭尽全力准备发放拍照以满足用户需求。
很多厂商，尤其是外国厂商对此非常不满，他们的反应是推迟了太多次，每次都以为马上就要发放了，却发现又是虚晃一枪。这体现出了厂商迫切想分一杯羹却又无可奈何面对现状的复杂心境。
据国家政策看来，只要TD-SCDMA的性能还可以凑合着用的话，一定就会在中国占据最大市场，不过，其性能到底如何，谁也不好说。
所以，准备更换CDMA手机的很多用户，还是捂紧钱袋，观望为妙，冬天已经来了，春天还会远吗？

My stock surges up!

After holding those stocks for more than 2 months, their prices surge up above the price, at any time I can sell them and get some profit. The number of profit depends on the moment I sell them.
Now I do not want to sell them, the stock of CM housing should be kept until the fiscal report comes out, so I will not sell it until Wendnesday.
I also do not want to sell the shares of China Bank and Industrial Bank, just because they have not reached my profit target: 10 percent. Once they get to the limit, I will sell them without any hesitation.

沃尔玛放弃自己开设银行计划 原因何在

沃尔玛宣布放弃自己开设银行的计划。
究其原因，其一是沃尔玛的计划受到了立法者、银行界和监管部门的炮轰；其二是国会已经开始形成共识，禁止非金融集团如零售商拥有自己的银行；其三是持反对意见的银行界人士认为沃尔玛计划开办的银行最终将会以传统银行的形式存在，接收存款和发放贷款，这样就会导致挤垮小的社区银行，并影响到规模稍大一点的银行的利润。

活力门创始人被判入狱2年半 新型经济如何发展

东京消息：周五，前网络风云人物崛江贵文被发现触犯证券法规，因此被判处监禁两年半。该案反映了日本在面对新兴阶级的态度和立场。

在判决做出之后，辩护律师迅速请求以4300万美元的保释金保释自认无罪的崛江贵文.

Topic: Why do Japanese eat whale?

For many years, Whaling is one of the most prosperous industry of the Japan, the country does not pay any attention to the opposition of the whole world.
From recent development which is held by the U.S, Japan is going to lower its head to reduce the consumption of the meat of whale.
So I want to ask why Japanese like eating whale so much?
One report on the New York Times gives us several reasons, and they seem to be reasonable. The title of the report is "Whaling: A Japanese Obsession With American Roots".
First, after the World War II, since the Japan was poor, and the resouce was not enough, so the U.S urged the Japanese to eat whale which then was of affluence, more and more people began to eat whale, even the students in school were supplied with meat of whales, so at last, eating whale became the tradition of the Japan's food.
Second, the Japanese have the consciousness of the poor natural resource, so they eat whales now to save the natural resources.
And thirdly, the Japan has become a super power, so the Japanese do not like to be told what they should eat!
I do not know above reasons are truth or not, but I know that eating whales when they are going to destinction is not acceptable by the world!

What my daily life like?

Life is smooth, the most important thing is preparing for the classes in each Wednesday and Friday, the class of Wednesday is of the third and forth classes, and the class of Friday is of the first two classes.
Despite the lesssons I prepare each day, future development is the most important thing. Each day I read the economic newspaper, view the news sites, pay attention to the stock market, I always think that if you act like a figure you wish to be, you are sure to become the figure in your dream.
I want to do some really useful thing for this world within the ability of my own.
When I am writing this, it is raining outside, the day is not bright, people have the feeling of being oppressed.

Several books I read today: not interesting

Products on the market are of different qualities, book is not an exception.
This afternoon I read several books, such as "Years Wandering"(MiLuanZhiNian), "Healthy Life"(JianKangYiSheng).
Both of them are written badly. The first book describes a meaningless story, the second book just boasts the power of the author as a doctor, how foolish it is!

The day is cold, the heart is hot

Even it is nearly Spring now, but the temperature is low, and the wind is cool.
I am busy learning how to teach, calling the girl I recently met, and preparing some daily work, such as self introduction, all things go together, I feel a little impressed.
Each day I spent more than three hours on calling the girl I recently met, but I have feelings that I am energetic, and do not feel tired a little.
Several things come together, I have to control them, and improve my ability to handle complex things at the same time, may be this is a chance to improve myself given by the God!

Comment on the "Lock the Spring"

This is a book about the love affairs of modern society.
It is written by Zhang Xin, a known Chinese female writer, the name of the book is "SuoCunJi", I do not know whether my translation "Lock the Spring" is proper, but I think it partly presents the real meaning of the book.
There are main females in the book: one is the wife, one is the sister, the other is the lover, they act different roles, each is uneasy to meet with the modern society.
Men in modern society meet more and more pressure, so sometimes they want to turn to someone for understanding and warm, so the lover comes!
I do not agree to having lovers in present society, I think after marriage, one should be faithful to his other part, marriage cannot be broken, this is the principle for chinese person to pursuit wealth and social position.

New book: Lock the Spring

Just back from the classroom

It's the real first day of my teaching life!
Old professors came here and listened to my lesson, it seems that being sponsored by them cannot be avoided.
I do not know their feelings, but I know mine.
I am a little nervous, so I first put up my hand before the student saluted to me, haha, though it is not too large a thing.
During the class, though I have time and relaxity to look at the students, my speaking rate is too high, so the content of two classes were taught and finished in the first class. Fortunately those old professors went out before the second class began, just fortunate.
Next time I will prepare more!

Life is moving forward

Time goes so fast that it has been a long time for me not to write blog.
Recently I am a little busy, not only on introduction, but work, and social relations. As a new coming back young man, some warm-hearted peoples introduce some girl to me, having choice has another side of meaning, that is you have to choose, I have not found any proper, so I have to go on to meet more.
Tomorrow I will go to the position as a teacher, that means that, tomorrow will be the first day of my teaching life.
I will continue learning Java with my spare time, this is my hobby.
