Reading is very important for us.
Through reading we can get necessary knowledge, and through reading we can show our ability.
Nowadays some young person choose their friends through the books they read. If they find someone reading the same books, they want to make friends with them, otherwise they will keep distance with the one.

大学需要什么样的教授？
这个问题在我看了一位名人的博客之后，有了新的认识。
中国现在的教授，大多是忙于挣钱，有些还在埋头研究，有些是什么都不会，靠着关系拉课题。
忙于挣钱的教授，很多都已远离科研第一线，他们再也不用自己编程序，再也不用自己调板子，需要他们做的工作就是出来拉项目。
这些人已经完成了从科研人员向商人的转变。
我们的大学不需要这样的人才，我们的大学需要两类人才：
第一类：科研能力和表达能力都好：既能埋头科研，把握方向，也能将自己的专业和市场紧密结合，能够出来宣讲自己的理论，具有一定的知名度；这类人能够帮助大学提高知名度，提高年青人向学的兴趣；
第二类：仅仅科研能力好：埋头科研，十年磨一剑；就像我以前认识的一位教授，一个人研究了几年，自己独立研究，获得国家科学技术进步奖一等奖，一人研究一人获奖，虽然不是我们所提倡的团队精神，但这种埋头研究的精神确实永远值得我们学习的。
我以后，就要做第一类教授。
